Colorado prisoner gets one year for attempted escape

Nathan Hankie, a Colorado inmate attempted to escape from prison and was foiled.  He entered a guilty plea to attempted escape on Friday.

In May 2009, it was reported that Hankie was resisting extradition from San Francisco to Colorado.   He was extradited and sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Hankie was sentenced to an additional year in prison for attempted escape.

No more details about the escape attempt were available from the media.
