‘Bonnie and Clyde’ have pulled off three robberies

The FBI and Greeley police are seeking the public’s help in nabbing a pair of brazen robbers dubbed “Bonnie and Clyde.”

The man and woman have pulled off several armed robberies in Greeley over the past month, including a Christmas Eve stick-up of the Guaranty Bank and Trust, 930 11th Ave., according to an FBI media release.

During the 8:40 a.m. Dec. 24 bank robbery, the couple “pointed guns at employees,” ordering one to comply with their demands. Bonnie and Clyde fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators believe on Dec. 15 the same couple, wearing hooded sweatshirts and ball caps to help cover their faces, hit Premier Cash Advance, 3820 10th St., the release said. The robbers brandished handguns and fled with cash.

On Dec. 5 a lone armed robber, believed to be Clyde, held up a Sinclair gas station, 1801 9th St., the FBI said. Investigators believe the same robber attempted to hit the Sinclair a second time, on Dec. 19. Both gas station robberies happened late at night.
